He was predeceased by: his parents, David Anderson, Sr. and Mary L. Brabham; and his sons, David Anthony (Michele), Chris and Matt.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Anderson; his sons, Stephen (Maxine) and Christopher; his grandchildren, Elaine, Carol, Josh (Brigitte), Wes, Kris, Mitch (Jessica), David (Sam), Zach and Chad; his great grandchildren, Erik, Maeve, Owen, Jacob, Jace, Wylie, Witton, Bo, Grace and Swayze; his sons, Dan (Tracy), Mike (Mary Katherine) and Steve; and his sisters, Helen Alexander, Nancy Jackson and Jan A. Sturkie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to Hospice of the EUP, 308 W. 12th Ave., Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783; Boys Farm, PO Box 713 Newberry, SC 29108 or a charity of one's choice.
