It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Newton McLeod of Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Newton and Audrey Newton; her brother R. L Newton of McColl, SC.; and her daughter-in-law Kathy McLeod of Mooresville, NC.. She is survived by: her husband Neil A. McLeod; her children, Ken McLeod (Amy) and Amy Owens (James); and her grandchildren, Madison Nichols (Case), Katie Smith (Holden), Riley McLeod, Emily McLeod, Hayden Smith and Sam McLeod.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lexington Presbyterian Church (246 Barr Rd, Lexington, SC 29072). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lexington Presbyterian Church or to The Camp Cole Foundation, Inc., 1571 Crossing Creek Rd, Eastover, SC 29044.
