She was predeceased by: her parents, Lenwood C. Evans and Bessie L. Evans (Campbell); her grandparents, Calvin, Ada Cave Tyler Evans, Clarkston, Martha Campbell and Campbell; her siblings, James, Lenwood J. Evans (Laura Janis) and Edith Seams (Millard); her husband John H. O. Hickman; her son Ralph Quincy Hickman; her great grandchild Patrick Hickman; and her daughters-in-law, Alice, Patricia, Sophia and Lici.
She is survived by: her cousin Virginia; her children, John P. Hickman of Caldwell, Kenneth Hickman (Gwen) of Randolph, Massachusetts, Christopher Hickman (Donna) of Southgate, Joya Simpson (Maurice) of Lake Wylie, Salim Mu'min (Hanan) of Oak Park, Michigan, Donald Hickman (Tonia) of Mint Hill, David Hickman of Southfield, Michigan, Perry Hickman (Darlene) of Winston-Salem, Mark Hickman (White Sulphur Springs) of Lexington and Octavia Hickman of Lewisburg; and her cousin Thurmond Evans (Diane) of Talcott, WV. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren; a host of dearly loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home (252 Montvue Dr, Lewisburg, WV 24901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel (252 Montvue Dr, Lewisburg, WV 24901).
