He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Bagwell and Claudia Edwards Bagwell; and his son Eddie Hall. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Caudle Bagwell; and his children, Belinda Anderson, Sandy Chapman (Bruce), Marty Bagwell, Randy Bagwell (Elaine), Tina Storey (Jeff), Joe Bagwell (Frances) and Michelle Sanders (Marc). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and his church family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses or B-L Congregational Holiness Church, 147 Dickert Drive, Batesburg, SC 29006.
