She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Emiel Berrie, Sr. (S. Navy) of Aiken, SC; her parents, James Franklin Byrley and Ella Everhart Byrley; her son Marvin Emiel Berrie, Jr.; and her sister Ethel Morris Hill.
