He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester H. Sr. Mills and Evelyn Boatwright Mills; his son Jamie Mills; and his sister Margie Steele. He is survived by: his wife Sharlene Caudle Mills; his siblings, Hayward Brown (Cathy) and Dorothy Gunter; and his brother-in-law John Steele.
