It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Layman Rikard of Leesville, South Carolina, born in Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Avon and Ella Lou Taylor Rikard; and his wife Freeda Ruth Warren Rikard. He is survived by: his son Byron Rikard (Kathy); his grandchildren, Courtney Hildebrand (Jason), Alisa Seawell and Brett Seawell (Veronica); his great grandchildren, Greyson, Hudson Hildebrand, Scarlet and Liam Seawell; and his siblings, Earl Rikard (Judy), Verl Rikard and Lila Gulledge.
