James Hampton Cushman III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Hampton Cushman III of Leesville, South Carolina, born in Aiken, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to James Hampton's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration James Hampton has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cushman and Thelma Cushman of Monetta, SC.. He is survived by: his wife Janice Phillips Cushman of Graniteville; his children, Jayme, James, Jacob and Jordyn Cushman; and his grandson Noah Cushman.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Old Lexington Baptist Church (800 Old Lexington Rd, Leesville, SC 29070). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Old Lexington Baptist Church, 800 Old Lexington Road, Leesville, SC 29070, or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
