We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2024, James Franklin Long of Leesville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Harold Sr. and Annie Corley Long; and his siblings, Annie Laura Long Ponder and Dewey "Sonny" Harold Long Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Hallman Long; his sons, Darron D. Long (Carla) and Deonne E. Long (Kristen); his grandchildren, Franklin Burkett Long, Darron Tanner Long, Giovanna Hallman Long, James Donald Long and John Edwin Long; and his brother Harry Lee Long (Mary).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Batesburg-Leesville Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 2329, Leesville SC 29070.
