It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Heape of Leesville, South Carolina, born in Eastover, South Carolina, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Heape; and his siblings, F. C. Heape, Toye Heape, Jean Gialenios and Ophelia Funderburk.
He is survived by: his daughter Carol Heape Smith; his grandchildren, Kelly Browning (Jonathan), Rachel Heape, Jordan Heape (Janet), Katie Heape (Gabby) and Sami Smith; his great grandchildren, Lexi, Leah, Landon Browning and Carolina Heape; his sister Faye Heape; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Cockrell and Linda Taylor. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
