It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard K. Raines Sr. of Leesville, South Carolina, born in Old Hickory, Tennessee, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Raines and Minnie Paul Price; his wife Ann Marie Raines; and his siblings, Francis Ward and Joe Paul Raines.

He is survived by: his children, H. Kelley Raines, Jr. (Deborah), Clendon P. Raines (Pamela), Paula R. Hull and David T. Raines (Gina). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews.
