He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Jacob and Mattie Clamp Crapps; his former wife Earline P. Crapps; his wife Lois Shealy Crapps; and his great grandchild Malori.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Alton Crapps (Nancy) and Dwight Russell Crapps (Lisa); his grandchildren, Shannon (Jennifer), Brent, Tonia, Heidi (Warren) and Victoria (Paul); his great grandchildren, Sadie, Kendal, Kiersten, Kadin, Braden and Josiah; his great great grandchild Emery; and his sister Lucy Crapps Hall. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Summerland Church, 343 Summerland Highway, Batesburg, SC 29006.
