With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Griff C. Smith Jr. of Leesville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Griff C. Smith Sr. and Mattie Ree Steel Smith; his wife Faye L. Smith of Faye's Greenhouses; and his brother James Ralph Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Billy Joe Smith (Cheryl), Danny Smith and Greg "Possum" Smith (Johnna); his sister Barbara Smith Shealy; and his grandchildren, Heather Soper (Brad), Natalie Long (Mitch), Meghan Blume (Buddy), John Crawford Smith (Josey) and Jocelyn Smith. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
