It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Wayne Carlyle of Leesville, South Carolina, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Carlyle and Verta Lucinda Lineberry Carlyle; his siblings, James, David Carlyle, Joan Baxley, Stella Whitaker and Peggy Patterson; and his granddaughter Taylor Leighann Carlyle.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Brock; his children, Jeremy Carlyle, Christopher Carlyle, Gerald Wayne Carlyle II and Cindy Stubbs; his stepchildren, Josh and Sissy; his sister Joyce Futual; and his sister-in-law Wilma Carlyle. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Milton Shealy Funeral Home (115 N Pine St, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29006). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Milton Shealy Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
