She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Shealy and Mildred Keisler Shealy; and her husband Billy E. Hite. She is survived by: her children, Scotty Black (Amanda), Christopher Black and Alethea Carlton; and her siblings, Carlton Shealy and Marie Higgins. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson.
