She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Grimes and Wanda S. Raulerson Grimes; and her son Aaron Zipperer. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Bill Black; her children, James Black (Rhonda), Jimmy Black (Heather) and Tracie Zarpentine (Jimmy); and her brothers, David Grimes (Brenda) and Christopher Grimes. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
