He is survived by: his mother Iris Goss Gunter; his wife Jessica Whittle Gunter; his children, Ivy Gunter Coleman (Austin) and Huntley Gunter; his grandchildren, Ila Rose and Steadman Michael Coleman; and his brother Jamie Gunter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Milton Shealy Funeral Home (115 N Pine St, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29006). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at the Steadman Baptist Church Cemetery (1011 N Edisto Rd, Leesville, SC 29070).
