He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Bill" Taylor and Dorothy Jumper Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Krissie Taylor; his children, Erica Armstrong (Tim), Mark Sanders, Andrew Seigler (Nataly) and Jacob Seigler (Jordan); his siblings, Harold Taylor (Gloria), Shirley Snelgrove and Carolyn Swygert; and his grandchildren, Taylor Armstrong, Thomas Armstrong and Scarlett Seigler. He is also survived by many aunts, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Calvary Baptist Church, 2320 Cedar Grove Road, Leesville SC 29070.
