He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ruby, James Edward Hodge, Effie and Nelson Lester; his uncles, Ott Lester, Claude Lester, Phillip Lester and Orville Lester, Sr.; and his aunt Ella Mae Benjamin (Nee Hodge).
He is survived by: his parents, Arland Langley Lester, Sr. and Carolyn Hodge Lester; his wife Marie Lester; his children, Jessica Greene (Joshua), Kayla Ramsey (Jonathan) and Joshua Lester; his grandsons, Jon Carver Ramsey and Landon Greene; and his siblings, Fran Howard (Frank), Janet Sutton (Rick) and Timothy Lester (Stacey). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family request in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Mrs. Lester to help offset medical and funeral cost.
