He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Williams and Lillie Ruth Watts Williams; and his brothers, Bobby Watts, Sr. and Richard Lee Williams. He is survived by: his wife Nellie Todd Williams; his sons, Willie J. Williams (Karen), Patrick Rice, Joshua Williams (Renae) and Daniel Williams (Sharee); his siblings, Thomas Williams, Donnie Williams, Elaine Hearst (Johnny) and Cora Dial (Larry); his aunt Mary Hearst; his uncles, A. C. Grant and Willie Franklin Watts; and his siblings-in-law, Lula Tyler (Charles), Betty Smith (John), Sarah Hill and James Todd. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
