He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Patrick Sprouse, Sr. and Lola Madge Hadden Sprouse; his son William T. "Tommy" Sprouse, Jr.; and his brother Paul Patrick Sprouse, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Steve Lanford (Sheree), Angela Brouillette (Steve), Roy McCall (Cindy) and Melissa Gilstrap (Mitchell); his grandchildren, Brooke Patterson (Blake), Ashley Buhrmaster (Michael), Justin Lanford, Ryan Brouillette (Marimar), Hannah Sprouse, Kaitlyn Sprouse, Gracin Gilstrap, Peyton Gilstrap and Jordan McCall; and his great grandchildren, Hadden Claire Patterson, Briggs Patterson, Whit Buhrmaster and Reese Patterson.

Memorials may be made to Laurens County Humane Society, 793 Poplar Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
