He is survived by: his spouse Linda Corder; his parent Carrie Lee Hellams Kanning; his children, William Steve Kanning, Jr. of Laurens and James Ray Kanning (Michelle) of Laurens; his siblings, Randy Joe Kanning (Debra) of Laurens and Joanne Kanning Johnson of Lexington; his grandchildren, Tesla Howell (Ridgeway) of Camden, Robert Mattson (Rachel) of Laurens and Tiffany Kanning (Matthew) of Laurens; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Mattson and Rylenn Waldrop; and also Fort Lindley Rd.
