With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Gerald Caldwell (Laurens, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Walter Gerald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Walter Gerald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Caldwell and Azile Tumblin Caldwell; and his brothers, Vernon "Buddy'Caldwell and Robin "Bobby" Caldwell. He is survived by: his nephew Jeff Caldwell; and his cousins, Jane Parris, Jill Fowler and Nick Wright.
