She was predeceased by: her parents, Feddie Newsome and Peggy Keen Newsome. She is survived by: her sons, Justin Newsome and David Goins (Jessica); her grandchildren, Dawson Goins and Rylan Goins; her siblings, Kimberly Newsome (Florence), Rebecca Newsome and Mark Newsome; her nephew Andrew Akers; and her nieces, Ruthie Akers, Nancy Newsome (Brandon) and Gloria Newsome. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts and uncles.
