He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Tommy" Earl Harris and Shirley Starnes Brubaker; his stepfather Glenn Brubaker; and his sister Angela Laws. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Dickerson Harris; his children, Thomas J. Harris, Jr. and Kayla King (Pastor Travis King) of Cross Hill; his sister Terri Dotson (Tim) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Kaydan Sinclair, Dawson Adams of Alex Kirby, A. J and Ashley Neal (Brandon); his stepsisters, Debbie Vines and Tammy Brubaker; and also Joshua W. Harris (Karen) of Laurens. He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to assist with funeral expenses.
