It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Simmie A. Hicks Jr. (Laurens, South Carolina), who passed away on September 13, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Williette Hicks; his children, Cedric Lauchner (Chardel) of Jacksonville, FL, Simmie Hicks III (Juwana) of East Stroudsburg, PA, Tiffany Sheriod of Brooklyn, NY and Tawana Shaver (James) of Atlanta, GA; and his brothers, Tyrone Hicks (Emma) of Brooklyn, NY and Raymond Hicks (Felicia) of Florida. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and a host of relatives.
