It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Frances Sams Dunaway (Laurens, South Carolina), who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Sams and Daisy Owings Sams; her son Bruce Edward "Eddie" Dunaway; her sister Doris Bagwell; and her close friend James Estes.
She is survived by: her son Charles David Dunaway (Teresa) of Cross Hill; her grandchildren, Charles Daniel Dunaway, James Daniel Dunaway, Louise Danielle Dunaway and Amy Marie Dunaway Moore; and her close friend Annie Ruth Graham. She is also survived by her eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pinelawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel (28808 US-76, Clinton, SC 29325). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pinelawn Memory Gardens (28808 US-76, Clinton, SC 29325).
