We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2025, Sara Pennington Hill of Laurens, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James R. Hill, Sr.; her parents, George Pennington and Sara Lena Cisson Pennington; and her siblings, James Pennington, William Pennington, Helen Pennington, Roberta Jones, Dorothy Scott, Jeanette Carlton and Ruth Ford.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, James R. "Bobby" Hill, Jr., Kenneth Hill of Gray Court and Stephanie Boyce of Irmo; and her sisters, Louise Owens and Ellen Robertson of Laurens. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (765 E Main St, Laurens, SC 29360). A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location.
