Samuel David Knight Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bobo and Mary Ethel Wise Knight; his brothers, Charles Henry Knight and William Paul Knight (Bob); and his son-in-law Kenneth Odell McCracken.
He is survived by: his wife Ann (England); his children, David Wayne Knight (Denise) of Augusta, GA and Deborah Knight McCracken (Jim) of Florence, SC; his grandsons, Robert Brent McCracken (Jessica) of Florence, SC and William Bradley McCracken of Florence, SC; his sisters, Mary Sue Knight Roberts of Laurens and Ruth K. Hughes Huffman (Hugh) of North Carolina; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Watson and David Linney (Joan) of England. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, a great-niece, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Prospect Baptist Church (4996 US Hwy 221 S, Laurens, SC 29360). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to New Prospect Baptist Church or VIA Hospice of Laurens County.
