He was predeceased by: his siblings, Shelby Pearson, Johnny Terry and Maxie Terry. He is survived by: his son Rex Terry; his grandchildren, Mandi, Mark Pendergrass of Greer, Brent, Jamie Garrett of Greer, Jeremy Goodman of Johns Island, Tyler, Ashley Goodman of Inman, Jessi and Adam Kimbrell of Inman; his brother-in-law Marion; his brother Teddy; his sisters-in-law, Pam Terry and Faye Terry of Laurens; and his daughter Pam Garrett. He is also survived by many siblings-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
