He was predeceased by: his parents, Pettis East and Carrie Powers East. He is survived by: his children, Luther Sullivan, Cedric Cherry, Pamela East Smith, Tomekia East Williams and Torria East Johnson; and his sisters, Nannie Workman and Ruby Campbell. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
