It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosalind Dendy Sweat of Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Dendy and Frances Sexton Dendy; and her stepson Barry J. Sweat, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Phillips (Tim), Russell Truluck (Peggy) and Susan Truluck; her stepdaughter Melinda Turner (Scott); her brother Joseph Dendy (Billie); her grandchildren, Daniel Phillips, Ashley Truluck and Hilarie Busby; her stepgrandchildren, Emily Clark (Tyler), Madison Turner-Lopez (Carlos) and Ben Turner (Gracyn); her great grandchildren, Alstan Busby, Nathan Busby and Robbie Busby; and her stepgreat-grandchild Ellie Ray.
