It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rory Dees of Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Owen Dees (Regina) and Robin Brewington Dees (John Palmer); her children, Alexander 'Gage Dees of Laurens, SC, Jaiven Roberson of Laurens, SC, Michael Owen Dees of Laurens, SC and Adrianne Wilson (Chris) of Laurens; her siblings, Lance Dees (Dianna) of Florida, Amber Merchant (Jason) and Mason Medlin; her great-grandparents, Sarah 'Edith Dees and Robert Ariail Brewington; and her granddaughter Wynter Wilson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

“I'm so sorry for the loss. Rory was so full of life and she lived life to the fullest. I used to call her Oreo was my nickname for because I never could pronounce her name, I would butcher her name. She was beautiful inside and out had the most beautiful eyes. She was good friends with RJ my son and she stayed with me in my house for a little while. My love prayers condolences to the family especially her children and her new grandbaby. Rest in peace. Fly high. I love you Oreo. Kim Lawson/Osborn”
