He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Davis and Ida Mae Madden Davis; his children, James Huffine "Huff" Davis and Bonnie Shea Thomas; and his brother-in-law Billy Walker.
He is survived by: his spouse Marion Walker Davis; his sons, Samuel Clifton Davis of Williamsburg, VA and Marion E. Thomas of Laurens; his brother Herman Donald "Don" Davis (Arlene) of Laurens; his niece Dottie Davis; and his nephews, Don Davis, Jr. and Shawn Davis.
