She was predeceased by: her husband Billy B. Jones; her parents, George Pennington and Sara Lena Cisson Pennington; her siblings, William Pennington, James Pennington, Dorothy P. Scott, Helen Pennington, Ruth P. Ford and Jeanette Carlton; and her niece Wanda Allen.
She is survived by: her sons, David Jones of Florida and Steve Jones of Laurens; her sisters, Louise Owens of Laurens, Ellen Robertson of Laurens and Sara Hill of Gray Court; and her grandchildren, Richard Jones, Logan Jones and Hunter Jones. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (765 E Main St, Laurens, SC 29360).
