He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Patterson and Vera Knighton Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Wyatt Patterson; his children, Norman "Binky" Patterson and Judy P. Lawson (Stanley); his brother Wendle Patterson (Faye); his grandsons, Stan Lawson (Christy), Anthony Lawson (Katie), Matthew Patterson (Hannah) and Kevin Patterson; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Noah, Emma Lawson, Lynzie and Wyatt Patterson; and his daughter Yvonne Reed.
