With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Monica Denise Hughes of Laurens, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 8, 2025 at the age of 57. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Kinard and Linda Faye Smith; and her brother Mitchell Kinard. She is survived by: her daughters, Megan Seals (Paul), Brooke Simmons (Shawn) and Tiffany Gosnell (Trey); her grandchildren, Bryley Simmons, Aiden Seals, Paxton Simmons, Tanner Seals and Birdie Gosnell; her sisters, Wendy McDowell (Donnie) and Misty Lyons; and her close friends, Ann Seals and Pam Kelly. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
