It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Edward Simmons of Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on November 27, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Lois Bailes Simmons; and his sister Leslie Bailes Simmons. He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley Simmons Robertson (Josh) of Seneca, Lindsay Simmons Edwards (Chad) of Gray Court and Sydney Simmons Parrish (Eric) of Simpsonville; his sister Kelly Simmons Sheppard (Tim) of Pickens; and his grandchildren, Landon, Carrington, Grayson Robertson, Parker Wilson, Brianna, Connor Edwards, Weston and Cameron Parrish.
