It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melody Lisa Simmons (Laurens, South Carolina), who passed away on January 24, 2019, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Franklin O'Neil Simmons and Virginia Fuller Simmons; her uncle Richard Fuller of Laurens; her sisters, Rhonda Simmons Thompson (Michael) of Greenville and Kearston Simmons Moates of Laurens; her niece Ressa Moates of Laurens; and her grandparents, Grady, Madia Riddle Fuller, Boyd J. Simmons, Woodruff, Albert and Elizabeth Hughes. She was also cherished by cousins, and her beloved cat.
