He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Nelson. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Fulmer Nelson; his siblings, Ruth Marlynn Nelson Powell (George Clark Powell) and James Aaron Nelson (Dawn McKittrick Nelson); his nieces and nephews, Melanie Ruth Powell Zwan (David Allen Zwan), Michelle Rose Powell, Benjamin Seth Powell, Hannah Vivian Powell, Rebekah Victoria Powell, Corrie Elisabeth Powell Blumer (Eric Ryan Blumer), Anna Joe Powell, Marvin Isaac Powell, James Aaron Nelson, Jr. (Lizz Moore Nelson) and William Lee Nelson; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Asher Joseph Zwan, Sophia Yael Zwan, Simon Joshua Zwan, Annie Hayes Nelson, James Aaron Nelson, III and James Ryan Blumer.
