She was predeceased by: her parents, Burnon G. Sellars and Leona Moss Sellars; her son Michael C. Owings; and her sisters, Shirley S. West and Carolyn C. Scruggs.
She is survived by: her daughter Marie Owings (Phillip Tumblin) of Laurens; her daughter-in-law Susan Owings; her siblings, Robert E. Sellars of Fairforest, SC, Gerald B. Sellars of Tallahassee, FL and Norma S. Fowler of Spartanburg, SC; and her grandchildren, Audrey Remmers of Chicago, IL, Jacob Remmers of Chicago, IL, Aaron Remmers of Laurens, Caden Remmars of Laurens, Katie Barnette (Michael) of Gray Court, Beth Hart (Matty) of Laurens and Maggie Rumfelt (Matthew) of Gray Court. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren and many "adopted" children.
