She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Leopard and Josie Turner Leopard; her son John Wayne Brown; her daughter-in-law Gloria Brown; her brothers, Samuel, Elbert Jr. and Hezekiah; and her grandchildren, Nicole, Kaidynce and Baby Blume.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Brown (Donnette) of Clinton, Debra Blume of Clinton and Rhonda Jackson of Clinton; and her siblings, Billy Leopard of Clinton, Nelson Lemuel Leopard of Clinton, Wayne Leopard of Clinton and Marilyn Miller of Pomeria. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road Greenville, SC 29605.
