With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Jo Strange Brown of Laurens, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2024 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melford Joseph and Edna Bishop Strange; and her sister Judy Strange Kinne. She is survived by: her children, Donna Brown Gooch (David, Sr.) and Jan Brown Skinner (Chris); her brother Wayne Strange; and her grandchildren, Will Owings (Erin) of Fort Mill, Ben Owings (Ellison) of Greenville, Erin Owings Patterson (Tori) of Laurens, Craig Skinner (Casey) of Columbia and Katie Skinner Jay (JK) of Laurens. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lisbon Presbyterian Church.
