It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillie Bell Richardson (Laurens, South Carolina), who passed away on August 17, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Odell Richardson and Lillie Johnson Richardson; and her spouse B. J. Richardson. She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Wright of Mauldin, Carrie Humbert of Greenville, Yvonne Dawkins (Clarence) of Greenville, Karether Richardson of Simpsonville and Minister Elizabeth Seawright (Willie) of Powder Springs, Georgia; her sisters, Jesse Pearl Harris of Maywood, NJ, Karether Ferguson of Taylors, SC, Fannie Scott of New York, NY and Geraldine Bryant of Warner Robbins, Georgia; her son-in-law Johnnie Hill of Laurens, SC; and her sister-in-law Ida Mae Winphrie of Laurens, SC. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; four great, great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
