She was predeceased by: her parents, James Foster Shell, Sr. and Lillie Mae Franks Shell. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Lee Watts, Keith Watts (Joanette), Melissa Sullivan (Rodney) and Calvinetta Mickens (Sheldon); her siblings, James Foster Shell, Jr. (Brenda) and Shirley Ann Shell; and her niece Gwendolyn Campbell. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
