It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lenice Thompson (Laurens, South Carolina), born in Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on March 4, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Edwin Thompson; her parents, Elmer Greenway and Lillian Smith Greenway; her siblings, Jack Greenway, Kenneth Greenway and Rachel G. Daniel; and her daughter-in-law Stebie Thompson.
She is survived by: her sons, James D. Thompson of Burlington, N. C. and Stephen V. Thompson (Beverly) of Bennettsville, S. C; her grandchildren, Beth T. Dudkowski (Michael) of Charlotte, N. C., Stephanie T. Duke (Shane) of Reidville, S. C. and Edwin D. Thompson of Burlington, N. C.; and her great grandchildren, Brianna, Bella and Pierce.
