It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josie Yeatts Almond of Laurens, South Carolina, born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on June 11, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amie Pruitt Yeatts and Ernest Hart Yeatts; and her siblings, Curtis Lee Yeatts and Cornelia Amos. She is survived by: her sons, Donald E. "Butch" Allmond (Nancy) of Waterloo, SC and Stephen E. Allmond (Faye) of Danville; and her brother Ernest Harold Yeatts of Danville. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great=grandchildren.
