With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Shockley (Laurens, South Carolina), born in Clinton, South Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Ida Mae Keasler Shockley; his former wife Rose Marie Shockley; and his daughter Polly Anne Shockley. He is survived by: his children, Joseph William Shockley, Jr. (Wanda) of Cold Point, Tina Marie Landis (Rodney) of North Port, FL, Melissa Lee Shockley of Clinton, Paul "David" Shockley, Jr. (Holly) of Fountain Inn, William Lee Shockley (Kaylee) of Fountain Inn and David Thompson (Kylie) of Newberry; and his stepchildren, Sharon Williams (James) of Gray Court and Rodney Overstreet (Carry) of Alaska. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
