Carter of Laurens, South Carolina, born in Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 76, on July 21, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Haskell Carter and Ellen Carter; and his sister Norma Carnes. He is survived by: his wife Linda Carter; his children, Robert Carter, Sharon Jones (Chris) and David Carter (Ryann); his brothers, Butch Carter (Nancy) and Bob Carter (Joan); his grandson Brian Carter (Alyssa); his great grandchildren, Natalie and Valerie; his granddaughter Stephanie Bryant (Jeremy); and his great grandchildren, Hailey and Oakley.
Due to the COVID-19 Crisis, only family members will be allowed to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Temple Baptist Church's Mission Fund.
