It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Davenport Shealy (Laurens, South Carolina), who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jonas Darrell "Bill" Shealy; her parents, Joseph Cecil Davenport and Irene Trammell Davenport; and her siblings, Col. Cecil O. Davenport, Polly D. Boyce and Janice D. Cannon.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Webb (Al) of Clinton, Darrell Shealy (Robin) of Charlotte and Brian Shealy (Mary Beth) of Clinton; and her sisters, Pat Owens (Truman), Dianne Childress (Ed) and Kathy Keadle (Glenn). She is also survived by "Nanny" to her thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
